A Medical doctor with specialization in Sexual Health, Dr Mahalingam is the founder Director of Nakshatra Group of STD & HIV clinics across Tamil Nadu. His core strength is Health systems strengthening, and he currently supports USAID to strengthen HIV laboratory services across India. He is also the Treasurer of the Indian Association for the Study of STDs & AIDS.
