The Issue

A large proportion of Young People in India live in urban slums and experience Multi-Dimensional Poverty (MDP) due to limited access to basic services such as Safety, Healthcare, Quality Education, Water and Sanitation, and Livelihood Preparedness. MDP severely damages the capacity of youth to transition into vibrant and productive adults. SIAAP uses an Integrated Approach to address these issues by working with adolescents, their families, and communities, in collaboration with local governments, service providers, and State Governments.
